Following last years successful Storm bowling ball showcase day, Bowlrite Pro Shops held another two showcase days for 2011, one for the Ebonite family on the 5th October, and another for the Storm/Rotogrip on the 12th. Limited to 20 bowlers in each session, both of which sold-out, Bowlrite Professional Jez Darvill and assistant Dan Penn spent some 8 hours in total helping bowlers of various levels and achievements bowl, shape and improve their games with the use of a wide variety of display bowling balls.both at Charrington Bowl Tolworth. Both days were a great success, and Jez Darvill said that he was thrilled with not just the turn-out, but at being able to provide first-hand and quality playing and buying advice to the bowlers that attended. "Last years Storm day taught us how to run this years showcase even better and tighter, and both myself and my pro shop Assistance Dan managed to spend a total of almost 8 hours each among our bowlers, helping to make adjustments to their game to show how their existing equipment can be used, and then how the new showcase equipment can be slotted-in to their arsenal to improve both scores and sparing."
